How to set the turnover goal?

To use Taskomat™ to its full potential you need to set your annual turnover target. This is because every piece of financial and performance data you find in Taskomat™ is related to what your turnover target is.

In the first instance, when you set your turnover target and your work habits you allow the Taskomat™ algorithm to derive your reference rate, i.e. the hourly price below which it is better not to fall if you want to reach your turnover target.

You can do this directly in onboarding, so that you can familiarise yourself with these concepts right from the start. But if, maybe you, you skipped it because you were in too much of a hurry, you can still make up for this ignominious mistake by setting your turnover target in your personal profile.

Of course, you can also use Taskomat without setting a turnover target. Just as you can use a Ferrari to go 40 km/h. The choice is yours: our advice is to ALWAYS set an annual turnover target.

Set your turnover goal

To set your turnover goal, click on your badge at the bottom left and log in to your personal profile. Then select the tab Taskomat Configuration.

In the box on the right, you can set:

Annual financial goal - How much do you want to invoice this year? Write down your annual turnover goal here, i.e. the gross total of your income, not counting taxes and miscellaneous expenses.
Working days per week - How many days do you work per week? Set the usual number of working days per week: typically it is 5, but you can change this according to your habits.
Working hours per day - How many hours do you work per day? Set the number of hours you work each day, or rather: the number of hours you would like to work each day. If you work 12 hours a day something is probably wrong. Better not to go beyond 8.
Days off in a year - How many days completely off do you want to take? Set the number of days when you do not want to hear about work even from 20 km away.

After setting these 4 parameters, Taskomat™ will derive your reference rate, i.e. the hourly price below which it is better not to fall if you want to reach your turnover target. Try modulating these 4 parameters until you arrive at an optimal setup.
