How to meet budget targets

Once you have entered your turnover target, Taskomat™ will automatically derive the daily, weekly and monthly budget targets that you will need to reach in order to meet your annual turnover target.

Reaching the budget means completing enough tasks with a high enough value to match the required budget each day, week or month.

The value of a task is calculated on the basis of its hourly estimate and the hourly rate of the work unit to which it belongs. Example: the value of a task estimated at 1H30' and belonging to a work unit with an hourly rate of 40€ will be 60€.

It is not possible to determine the value of a task if it has no hourly estimate or is not accounted for in any work unit.

Daily Budget

You can find the daily budget in the progress bar Today's Budget of the Dashboard. Let's take a look at the 3 values in detail:

Budget disbursed - the first value you find is the budget disbursed, i.e. the value of the tasks you have already completed today
planned budget - the second value you find is the planned budget, i.e. the value of the tasks planned for today
Daily budget target - the third value you find is the daily budget target, i.e. the budget you need to hit on a daily basis if you want to achieve your annual turnover target.

If the value of the tasks planned during the day is high enough to hit the daily budget target, the flag next to the budget will turn black, otherwise it will remain white.

planned budget - the second value you find is the planned budget, i.e. the value of the tasks planned for the week
Weekly budget target - the third value you find is the weekly budget target, i.e. the budget you need to hit each week if you want to achieve your annual turnover target.

If the value of the tasks planned during the day is high enough to hit the daily budget target, the flag next to the budget will turn black, otherwise it will remain white.

.

Monthly Budget

You will find the monthly budget in the Monthly Budget progress bar of the Planner, obviously set to monthly view. As with the daily and weekly budget, you will also find 3 similar values here:

Budget disbursed - the first value you find is the budget disbursed, i.e. the value of the tasks you have already completed in the month
planned budget - the second value you find is the planned budget, i.e. the value of the tasks planned for the month
Monthly budget objective - the third value you find is the monthly budget objective, i.e. the budget you have to hit each month if you want to achieve your annual turnover objective.

If the value of the tasks planned during the day is high enough to hit the daily budget target, the flag next to the budget will turn black, otherwise it will remain white.
